The Canadian dollar extended its recent uptrend against other major currencies during early trading on Monday. As of 7:10 am ET, the loonie drifted higher to 1.23 against the US dollar, 0.8169 against the Australian dollar, 73.91 against the Canadian dollar and 1.6545 against the euro.
