Tuesday, the Germany's Federal Statistical Office announced that the employment in manufacturing sector increased 2% year-over-year to 105,700 persons in October. At the same time, the number of hours worked was up 1.4% to 736 million.

Meanwhile, total gross wages and salaries in the manufacturing sector grew 3.3% on an anual basis in October, totaling EUR 18.1 billion.
