At 5:00 am ET Friday, Eurozone final consumer inflation for January is set for release. Ahead of the data, the euro traded mixed against its major counterparts. While the euro retreated against the franc and the greenback, it rose against the pound and the yen.
The euro was worth 125.69 against the yen, 1.1348 against the franc, 0.8708 against the pound and 1.1341 against the greenback as of 4:55 am ET.
