The U.S. durable goods orders for April are scheduled for release at 8:30 am ET Friday. Ahead of the data, the greenback traded mixed against its major counterparts. While the greenback held steady against the euro, it rose against the rest of major rivals.
The greenback was worth 109.57 against the yen, 1.0025 against the franc, 1.2671 against the pound and 1.1193 against the euro as of 8:25 m ET.
