After the release of U.S. jobs data for November at 8:30 am ET Friday, the greenback advanced against its major counterparts.
The greenback was trading at 108.73 against the yen, 0.9907 against the franc, 1.3117 against the pound and 1.1077 against the euro around 8:31 am ET.
