U.S. GDP data for the fourth quarter, weekly jobless claims for the week ended February 22 and durable goods orders for January are due out at 8:30 am ET Thursday. Ahead of the data, the greenback dropped against its major counterparts.
The greenback was worth 109.88 against the yen, 1.2904 against the pound, 0.9694 against the franc and 1.0964 against the euro at 8:25 am ET.
