Estonia's current account deficit narrowed to EEK 1.26 billion in October from EEK 2.44 billion in September, a report by the country's central bank said Monday. The report said the deficit fell mainly due to a smaller trade deficit.

The deficit in the goods account decreased to EEK 1.73 billion from EEK 2.5 billion in the previous month. However, the surplus in the services account increased to EEK 1.6 billion from EEK 1.11 billion.

Meanwhile, in the capital account, the surplus increased to EEK 293 million from EEK 163 million in September.

In the financial account, including reserve assets, the net inflow increased to EEK 1.772 billion from EEK 1.769 billion.
