Japan's final industrial production data for May was released at 12:30 am ET Friday.
After the data, the yen changed little against its major rivals.
As of 12:31 am ET, the yen was trading at 129.37 against the euro, 146.89 against the pound, 117.31 against the Swiss franc and 113.42 against the U.S. dollar.
