Following the release of UK CIPS/Markit services PMI for July at 4:30 am ET Thursday, the pound rose against its major rivals.
The pound was trading at 1.3240 against the greenback, 146.49 against the yen, 1.2823 against the franc and 0.8942 against the euro around 4:32 am ET.
