Czech consumer price inflation accelerated as expected in September, data from the Czech Statistical Office revealed Monday.
Inflation rose to 2.7 percent in September from 2.5 percent in August. The rate came in line with expectations.
Prices of goods advanced 2.3 percent and that of services climbed 3.2 percent in September.
Meanwhile, consumer prices dropped 0.1 percent month-on-month in September, primarily due to the decrease in prices in 'recreation and culture'.
