After the release of German flash inflation data for October at 9.00 am ET Monday, the euro dropped against its major counterparts.
The euro was trading at 131.88 against the yen, 1.1603 against the franc, 0.8795 against the pound and 1.1607 against the greenback around 9:02 am ET.
