At 5.00 am ET Monday, Eurostat releases euro area producer prices for September. Producer price inflation is forecast to rise to 2.7 percent in September from 2.5 percent in August.
Ahead of the data, the euro rose against its major rivals.
The euro was worth 0.8854 against the pound, 1.1624 against the franc, 1.1606 against the greenback and 132.44 against the yen as of 4:55 am ET.
