At 2.00 am ET Wednesday, Destatis has issued Germany's industrial production data for December. The euro changed little against its major rivals after the data. The euro was trading at 1.2397 against the greenback, 135.35 against the yen, 1.1587 against the franc and 0.8875 against the pound around 2:01 am ET.
