At 4:30 am ET Thursday, U.K. mortgage approvals and CIPS/Markit factory PMI have been released. The pound rose against its major rivals after these data.
The pound was trading at 146.93 against the yen, 0.8859 against the euro, 1.3758 against the greenback and 1.3016 against the franc around 4:32 am ET.
