At 4.30 am ET Friday, the Office for National Statistics has released UK industrial production and foreign trade data.
After the data, the pound dropped against its major rivals.
The pound was trading at 147.35 against the yen, 1.3803 against the greenback, 1.3118 against the franc and 0.8918 against the euro around 4:33 am ET.
