Australia's consumer confidence weakened for the third straight time during the week ended April 8, though slightly, a weekly survey compiled by the ANZ bank and Roy Morgan Research showed Tuesday.
The consumer confidence index dropped 0.3 percent to 115.1 from 115.5 in the preceding week.
The index measuring current economic conditions rose 0.9 percent and future economic conditions recovered some of the 1.1 percent loss posted last week to rise 0.7 percent in the latest reading.
