At 5.00 am ET Thursday, European Commission is scheduled to release economic sentiment survey results. The economic confidence index is seen falling to 112 in June from 112.5 in May.
Ahead of the data, the euro held steady against its major rivals.
The euro was worth 127.46 against the yen, 1.1533 against the franc, 0.8833 against the pound and 1.1556 against the greenback as of 4:55 am ET.
