Job advertisements in Australia decreased in June after rising in the previous month, the latest survey from the Australian and New Zealand Banking Group revealed Monday.
On a monthly basis, total job ads dropped a seasonally adjusted 1.7 percent month-over-month in June, reversing a 1.4 percent increase in May.
Annual growth in job ads eased notably to 6.9 percent in June from 11.5 percent in the preceding month. Moreover, this was the weakest annual growth since the second half of 2016.
