The U.K. house price index for May, CPI and PPI for June have been released at 4:30 am ET Wednesday. After these data, the pound fell further against its major counterparts.
The pound was worth 147.12 against the yen, 1.3059 against the franc, 0.8917 against the euro and 1.3020 against the greenback around 4:34 am ET.
