Singapore's producer prices grew at a faster rate in June, figures from the Department of Statistics showed Friday.
The manufactured product price index climbed 7.8 percent year-over-year in June, faster than the 6.9 percent increase in the previous month. This was the third successive monthly rise.
The domestic supply price index rose notably by 11.6 percent annually in June and it increased 0.7 percent from a month ago.
On a monthly basis, producer prices dropped 0.5 percent from May, when it gained by 4.4 percent.
Data also revealed that import prices grew 9.0 percent yearly in June, above the 6.6 percent rise in the preceding month.
Export prices increased 6.5 percent annually and by 0.7 percent monthly in June.
