Statistics Canada will release Canada GDP data for May and industrial product price index for June at 8:30 am ET Tuesday. Ahead of these reports, the loonie held steady against its major counterparts.
The loonie was worth 85.53 against the yen, 0.9684 against the aussie, 1.5301 against the euro and 1.3041 against the greenback as of 8:25 am ET.
