The manufacturing sector in the Philippines continued to expand in July, albeit at a slower pace, the latest survey from Nikkei revealed on Wednesday with a PMI score of 50.9.
That's down from 52.9 in June, although it remains above the boom-or-bust line of 50 that separates expansion from contraction.
Individually, there were slower rises in both output and new orders.
Export growth accelerated to a 19-month high, while inflationary pressures remain marked.
