Brazil's industrial confidence weakened in August to the lowest level in nine months, survey data from the think tank FGV showed Tuesday.
The industrial confidence index fell to 99.3 in August from 100.1 in July.
Moreover, this was the lowest score since November 2017, when it marked 97.5.
The current situation index dropped by 2.4 points to 96.6 in August, while the expectations index improved 0.8 points to 101.9.
Data also showed that the installed capacity utilization level of industry remained stable at 75.7 percent.
