Australia's retail sales remained flat in July after expanding for three straight months, the Australian Bureau of Statistics reported Monday.
Retail sales remained unchanged following a 0.4 percent rise each in May and June. Sales were expected to climb 0.3 percent.
Food retailing advanced 0.3 percent, while household goods retailing slid 1.2 percent and clothing and footwear sales declined 2 percent.
