After the release of U.K. manufacturing PMI for August at 4.30 am ET Monday, the pound fell further against its major rivals.
The pound was trading at 143.09 against the yen, 0.9011 against the euro, 1.2502 against the franc and 1.2892 against the greenback around 4:31 am ET.
