At 5.00 am ET Tuesday, Eurostat releases euro area producer prices for July. Producer price inflation is seen rising to 3.9 percent in July from 3.6 percent in June.
Ahead of the data, the euro eased against its major rivals.
The euro was worth 128.89 against the yen, 0.9015 against the pound, 1.1251 against the franc and 1.1564 against the greenback at 4:55 am ET.
