At 2.00 am ET Friday, Destatis has published Germany's industrial production and foreign trade figures for July.
Following the data, the euro fell slightly against its major counterparts.
The euro was trading at 128.50 against the yen, 1.1219 against the franc, 0.8992 against the pound and 1.1617 against the greenback around 2:03 am ET.
