The Japanese yen slipped against its most major counterparts in pre-European deals on Tuesday.
The yen dropped to a 5-day low of 129.48 against the euro, reversing from a high of 128.76 seen at 5:00 pm ET.
The yen weakened to a 6-day low of 84.85 against the loonie, 4-day lows of 79.45 against the aussie and 72.85 against the kiwi, from its early highs of 84.38, 78.99 and 72.44, respectively.
The yen declined to 114.41 against the franc, from near a 2-week high of 113.88 hit at 5:00 pm ET.
The yen dropped to near a 2-week low of 145.58 against the pound, off early near 2-week high of 144.66.
The yen is likely to find support around 132.00 against the euro, 148.5 against the pound, 116.00 against the franc, 86.00 against the loonie, 81.00 against the aussie and 75.00 against the kiwi.
