Latvia's trade deficit increased in July, data from the Central Statistical Bureau showed Tuesday.
The trade deficit widened to EUR 405.6 million from EUR 297.7 million in July. In the same period last year, the deficit totaled EUR 306.6 million.
Exports increased 8.3 percent in July from last year and imports surged 14.5 percent annually.
On a monthly basis, exports dropped slightly by 0.01 percent but imports grew 1.8 percent in July.
