The pound weakened against its major counterparts in the European session on Friday.
The pound dropped to a 4-day low of 1.2621 against the franc and a 2-day low of 0.8933 against the euro, from its early highs of 1.2677 and 0.8910, respectively.
The U.K. currency eased to 1.3083 against the dollar and 146.35 against the yen, off its early 2-week high of 1.3138 and a 1-1/2-month high of 147.02, respectively.
If the pound falls further, it may find support around 1.23 against the franc, 0.91 against the euro, 1.28 against the dollar and 144.00 against the yen.
