The pound rose against its key counterparts in pre-European trading on Monday.
The pound inched up to 1.3090 against the dollar and 1.2662 against the franc, off its early lows of 1.3067 and 1.2632, respectively.
Reversing from an early low of 0.8898 against the euro, the pound hit a 5-day high of 0.8884.
The next possible resistance for the pound is seen around 1.33 against the dollar, 1.28 against the franc and 0.87 against the euro.
