At 5.00 am ET Wednesday, Eurostat releases euro area construction output figures for July.
Ahead of the data, the euro traded mixed against its major rivals. While the euro rose against the yen, the franc and the greenback, it dropped against the pound.
The euro was worth 1.1704 against the greenback, 131.49 against the yen, 1.1289 against the franc and 0.8864 against the pound as of 4:55 am ET.
