Producer prices in Japan were up 0.3 percent on month in September, the Bank of Japan said on Thursday - following the flat reading in August.
On a yearly basis, producer prices were up 3.0 percent - unchanged from the previous two months.
Exports prices were up 0.6 percent on month and 2.2 percent on year, the bank said, while import prices added 0.7 percent on month and 10.9 percent on year.
Prices were up for petroleum, utilities and metal producers, while they were down for agricultural, forestry and fishing products.
