Final demand producer prices in Australia were up 0.8 percent on quarter in the third quarter of 2018, the Australian Bureau of Statistics said on Friday - accelerating from the 0.3 percent gain in the second quarter.
On a yearly basis, prices jumped 2.1 percent - up from 1.5 percent in the three months prior.
Intermediate demand producer prices were up 1.2 percent on quarter and 4.7 percent on year, while preliminary demand producer prices climbed 1.3 percent on quarter and 5.2 percent on year.
