U.S. trade report for September and jobs data for October have been released at 8:30 am ET Friday. Following these reports, the greenback rose against its major counterparts.
The greenback was trading at 0.9989 against the franc, 112.98 against the yen, 1.1425 against the euro and 1.2994 against the pound around 8:35 am ET.
