The U.S. weekly jobless claims for the week ended February 23 and advanced GDP data for the fourth quarter have been released at 8:30 am ET Thursday. Following these data, the greenback rose against its major counterparts.
The greenback was trading at 110.93 against the yen, 0.9945 against the franc, 1.1403 against the euro and 1.3296 against the pound around 8:33 am ET.
