At 5:00 am ET Thursday, Eurostat will release Eurozone GDP and employment data for the fourth quarter.
Ahead of these data, the euro traded mixed against its major counterparts. While the euro rose against the pound and the greenback, it held steady against the franc and the yen.
The euro was worth 1.1311 against the greenback, 126.36 against the yen, 1.1361 against the franc and 0.8593 against the pound as of 4:55 am ET.
