IHS Markit releases UK CIPS/Markit factory PMI for May at 4.30 am ET Monday. The factory PMI is expected to drop to 52.0 from 53.1 in April.
The pound traded mixed against its major opponents before the data. While the pound dropped against the franc, it advanced against the rest of major counterparts. The pound was worth 1.2654 against the greenback, 137.03 against the yen, 1.2612 against the franc and 0.8828 against the euro as of 4:25 am ET.
