Statistics Canada will release Canada wholesale sales for April at 8:30 am ET Tuesday. Ahead of the data, the loonie traded mixed against its major counterparts. While the loonie rose against the greenback and the yen, it was steady against the aussie and the euro.
The loonie was worth 81.34 against the yen, 1.4997 against the euro, 0.9179 against the aussie and 1.3168 against the greenback as of 8:25 am ET.
