After the release of the U.S. retail sales and import price index for June at 8:30 am ET Tuesday, the greenback traded mixed against its major counterparts. While the greenback climbed against the franc, the euro and the yen, it changed little against the pound.
The greenback was trading at 108.15 against the yen, 0.9881 against the franc, 1.1211 against the euro and 1.2427 against the pound around 8:33 am ET.
