The U.S. housing starts and building permits for June are due at 8:30 am ET Wednesday. Ahead of these data, the greenback traded mixed against its major rivals. While the greenback dropped against the euro, it was steady against the rest of major rivals.
The greenback was worth 108.27 against the yen, 0.9895 against the franc, 1.1216 against the euro and 1.2414 against the pound as of 8:25 am ET.
