The U.S. industrial production for July is due from the Federal Reserve at 9:15 am ET Thursday. Ahead of the data, the greenback traded mixed against its major counterparts. While the greenback rose against the franc and the euro, it held steady against the pound and the yen.
The greenback was worth 1.1138 against the euro, 1.2121 against the pound, 106.22 against the yen and 0.9756 against the franc at 9:10 am ET.
