Producer price data from Germany is due on Tuesday, headlining a light day for the European economic news.

At 1.00 am ET, Statistics Finland publishes July unemployment report. The jobless rate stood at 6.2 percent in June.

At 2.00 am ET, Destatis is scheduled to issue Germany's producer price data. Prices are forecast to rise 1 percent annually in July after climbing 1.2 percent in June.

In the meantime, foreign trade figures are due from Switzerland.

At 4.00 am ET, Poland's average gross wages data is due. Economists forecast average gross wages to advance 7.1 percent on year in July after rising 5.3 percent in June.

At 5.00 am ET, Eurostat is set to issue June construction output. Eurozone construction output had declined 0.3 percent on month in May.

At 6.00 am ET, the Confederation of British Industry publishes monthly Industrial Trends survey results. The order book balance is forecast to improve to -25 percent in August from -34 percent in July.
