Public sector finance data from the UK is due on Wednesday, headlining a light day for the European economic news.

At 12.30 am ET, Dutch consumer spending and consumer confidence reports are due.

At 2.00 am ET, Statistics Norway is scheduled to issue unemployment data for June. The jobless rate is seen unchanged at 3.4 percent in June.

At 4.00 am ET, Statistics Poland releases industrial production and producer prices data. Economists forecast industrial production to grow 6.5 percent on year after falling 2.7 percent in June. Producer price inflation is expected to ease to 0.5 percent in July from 0.6 percent in June.

At 4.30 am ET, the Office for National Statistics releases UK public sector finance data. The budget balance is forecast to log a shortfall of GBP 3.6 billion versus a surplus of GBP 6.5 billion in June.
