At 8:15 am ET Thursday, ADP private payrolls data for August is set for release. The greenback traded mixed against its major counterparts ahead of the data. While the greenback held steady against the yen, it fell against the rest of major rivals.
The greenback was worth 106.66 against the yen, 0.9823 against the franc, 1.1061 against the euro and 1.2341 against the pound at 8:10 am ET.
