After the release of U.S. jobs data for August at 8:30 am ET Friday, the greenback dropped against its major counterparts.
The greenback was trading at 106.95 against the yen, 0.9900 against the franc, 1.2300 against the pound and 1.1027 against the euro around 8:34 am ET.
