Following the release of Canada GDP data for July at 8:30 am ET Tuesday, the loonie fell against its major counterparts.
The loonie was trading at 1.3284 against the greenback, 81.57 against the yen, 1.4474 against the euro and 0.8891 against the aussie around 8:31 am ET.
