Construction Purchasing Managers' survey data from the UK is due on Wednesday, headlining a light day for the European economic news.

At 2.30 am ET, the Federal Statistical Office is scheduled to issue Swiss consumer prices. Inflation is forecast to remain unchanged at 0.3 percent in September.

At 3.00 am ET, Spain's unemployment data for September is due from the labor ministry. Economists forecast unemployment to increase 37,600 after rising 54,371 in August.

In the meantime, the Hungarian Central Statistical Office releases final foreign trade data for July.

At 4.00 am ET, the Swiss KOF institute is slated to publish autumn economic forecast.

At 4.30 am ET, UK Markit/CIPS construction PMI data is due. Economists expects a PMI reading of 45.0 for September, the same as seen in August.

At 4.55 am ET, Iceland's central bank announces the outcome of its monetary policy committee meeting.

At 8.00 am ET, interest rate decision from Poland's central bank is due. The bank is widely expected to maintain its key rate at 1.50 percent.
