Public sector finance data from the UK is due on Thursday, headlining a light day for the European economic news.

At 2.00 am ET, the Turkish Statistical Institute releases consumer confidence survey data.

Half an hour later, the Federal Statistical Office releases Swiss industrial output for the third quarter. Economists forecast an annual growth of 4 percent after rising 4.8 percent in the second quarter.

At 2.45 am ET, the French statistical office Insee is slated to issue monthly manufacturing confidence data. The manufacturing sentiment index is seen rising marginally to 100 in November from 99 in October.

At 4.00 am ET, average gross wages from Poland is due. Economists forecast gross wages to climb 6.2 percent on year in October, slower than the 6.6 percent increase seen in September.

At 4.30 am ET, the Office for National Statistics is slated to issue UK public sector finance data. Economists forecast public sector net borrowing to fall to GBP 9.3 billion in October from GBP 9.4 billion in September. At 7.30 am ET, the European Central Bank is set to publish account of the monetary policy meeting of the Governing Council held on October 23 and 24.
