At 2.00 am ET Thursday, Destatis has released Germany's factory orders for October. The euro changed little against its major rivals after the data.
The euro was trading at 0.8451 against the pound, 120.57 against the yen, 1.0942 against the franc and 1.1081 against the greenback around 2:02 am ET.
